Art and Repair on Lake Street by Sheila Regan ~ 
The empty lot where the former Roberts Shoes Building once stood has become a lively art space connected to the community around Lake Street. KFAI's Sheila Regan talked with artists involved with the Lake Street Truth Collective about how the empty lot has become a vibrant new center of artmaking and truth-telling.

Wordless and Riveting, “felt / not said” by Mankwe Ndosi and Body Memori Comes From the Body by Sheila Regan ~ 
Mankwe Ndosi & Body MemOri’s riveting lyric-less album, "felt/not said," features Ndosi using her voice as a wildly versatile instrument. Created in collaboration with Cellist Tomeka Reid, Contrabasso player Silvia Bolognesi, and percussionist Davu Seru, with mixing by Greg Schutte, the album explores the notion of healing through sonic sounds and rhythms. Ndosi, spoke to Sheila Regan about the origins of her technique, how the album came together, and what it means to be an artist in this moment.

Sod House Brings Booyah (and Theater) Beyond the Metro by Sheila Regan ~ 
Sod House Theater brought Booyah to the people with their recent show, “Arla Mae’s Booyah Wagon.” Conceived by Minnesota theater artist Sarah Agnew, the show has travelled to all parts of the state, offering whimsical, creative theater to communities far from the urban center. 

Emily Michaels King and Her Digital Detritus for the Zoom Era by Sheila Regan ~ 
Performance artist Emily Michaels King has a new production called ‘Digital,” which invites the audience into the bedroom, into the computer screen, and into the body, for an immersive, tangible virtual experience for the zoom era. KFAI’s Sheila Regan spoke with King about nostalgia, family history, and something she calls "bloodline."

The Otherworldly In American Art by Sheila Regan ~ 
Spirits, UFOs, and Ouija boards, and all things otherworldly make up Supernatural America: The Paranormal in American Art – an unsettling, new touring exhibition curated by Robert Cozzolino, Curator of Paintings at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Premiering in Toledo before traveling to Louisville and then Minneapolis, it's the first major museum exhibition to take on the supernatural in art in the United States.

Through Storytelling and Spray Paint, Reggie LeFlore Expresses Black Joy by Sheila Regan ~ 
Reggie LeFlore is a muralist with street art and graffiti influences. His first solo gallery exhibition took place at Gamut Gallery in downtown Minneapolis this past summer. He shares personal work about his life, work, and identity.
